The idea for Sharkbyte Studios occurred while on a dog walk.  Before heading downtown on a Friday night, we were walking the dogs and discussing where exactly we were going to go.  The phrase “What’s going on at _____ tonight” was said multiple times.  The only way we knew of to find out to check was to go to each venues’ website or social media pages to see what events they had going on. 

“I wish there was one place to look for all of this.”  This is the phrase that got the gears turning.  The next 2 years were spent learning code and mobile development for the purpose of designing the app that would finally answer the question “Whats going on tonight”.

At Sharkbyte Studios, we aren’t your typical tech company.  We don’t have a ping-pong table (yet) or a sprawling, bright, multi-colored campus.  We don’t like buzzwords, so you won’t hear us use refer to ourselves or an app as “a dynamic forward-thinking synergistic disruptor of blah blah blah industry” (just typing that caused queasiness). 
What we do have is a sense of humor and a work hard / play hard mentality.  We have a vision of what we hope to achieve and the drive to make that vision happen while making fun of ourselves and each other the entire way.  We have a desire to make the apps you love.  Also, we really want to have that ping-pong table.
